Born-and-raised Denverite Melody has been with Palmer Polaski as an Administrative Assistant since March 2022 during a break in her studies. In her role, she helps out by filling in whatever gaps happen in the workday of our busy office. Scheduling, answering phones, sorting mail: you name it, she does it. She grew up around immigrants and attorneys, so she is well-acquainted with how complex immigration cases can be and can see the unfairness that’s built into the US immigration system. In order to communicate with our clients more easily, she has a goal to learn to speak and understand Spanish fluently.
Outside of work, mild-mannered Mel spends her time playing shooter video games, traveling to other US cities, and hiking through national parks or anywhere in Colorado with her boyfriend and her dogs. She would love to visit Canada’s and Mexico’s national parks someday as well. When she goes back to school, she’ll study either accounting or business administration; she hasn’t made up her mind yet.
