Colorado Supreme Court Recognizes Palmer Polaski for Commitment to Pro Bono Representation in 2010

Denver, Colorado, April 8th – In an afternoon ceremony at the University of Colorado Law School, the Colorado Supreme Court recognized Palmer Polaski among many other law firms, solo practitioners, and in-house counsel for having met the annual goal of averaging at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services per Colorado-licensed attorney in 2010.  Pro bono legal services are provided primarily for the indigent and/or organizations serving the indigent.  “Pro bono legal services are in extreme demand in the field of immigration and Elkind Alterman Harston remains committed to helping address the tremendous need in our community,” said Palmer Polaski partner, David Harston.   If your organization routinely represents immigrants in need of pro bono services, please contact an Palmer Polaski attorney or our firm administrator.  For more information about pro bono services and the Colorado Supreme Court’s recognition program, go to:  http://www.courts.state.co.us/Media/Press_Docs/pro%20bono%20commitment%202011%20FINAL.pdf
